Thursday, May 22nd marked the ninth year of wedded bliss for J and me. It's hard to believe so much time has passed and even harder to believe that this fall will mark the point in my life where I've know J for half it. I always thought it would be fun to get each other the traditional gifts (i.e., year one clocks, year two cotton, year ten diamonds) for each anniversary, but never mentioned it. So I was both surprised and touched when J looked up the gift for the ninth year, which happens to be pottery, willow or leather. When he picked out the beautiful flowers pictured above he chose a bright and modern pitcher as the vase. Even after all these years he still surprises me. And, his timing on following the recommended anniversary gifts could not have been better...only 361 days until we reach 10 years ;) I love you J.

You have a great hubby Kel! Happy Anniversary! Can't wait to see what he gets you next year...
Happy Anniversary! Good job to J- that's impressive.
Can't believe you have been married for that long. You guys are totally legit. :)
Happy anniversary guys! Kel, it seriously seems like yesterday that we were driving up to Weber State and the only thing we could talk about were our upcoming weddings...funny!
sorry, this is me, monica...i was logged into the hubs account and didn't notice!
I know Mon - isn't it wild! I still haven't accepted the fact that we're not "young" anymore.
