About 25,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger related causes, according to the United Nations. This is so hard to comprehend living in a nation of excess. FreeRice has decided to do somthing about it. Go to freerice.com and play a vocabulary game; for every question you answer correctly FreeRice will donate 20 grains of rice to the UN World Food Program (WFP). The questions are addicting and in less than five minutes FreeRice had donated over 800 grains of rice to the WFP based on my answers. The website tracks your vocabulary level as you play and includes a lot of great information about worldwide hunger and poverty.
