Tonight I had an AMAZING time at the Mika concert at In the Venue. We went with J's sister, Jamey and her husband, Jayson. We got to the club after the doors were scheduled to open and found a huge line stretching two blocks and around the corner. We parked at the Gateway and grabbed a quick dinner. Then we walked to the line and had been waiting about 15 minutes when one of the club guys came by and told everyone without tickets to go home as the show was sold out. So a bunch of people left and we found ourselves at the end of the line......that is until one of Mika's guys came and told us he had two seats ON THE STAGE! He pulled us out of line and past everyone waiting, took us in through the back door, and refunded us for two of our tickets. Jamey and I sat on the stage with a few other people and were about ten feet from Mika. And J and Jayson got to skip the line and the cold and had a spot mid-way back from the stage. It was the best concert ever! Hopefully Ingrid Michaelson at the end of the month will be as fun as her show back in December at The Bowery Ballroom.
